Ukraine’s accession to EU threatens Poland’s agriculture — president

Karol Nawrocki made the statement during an event of the Agroliga organization

MOSCOW, June 20. /TASS/. Ukraine’s accession to the European Union will create a threat to Poland’s agriculture sector, Polish President Karol Nawrocki said.

"I believe that Ukraine’s accession to the EU will be a threat to the Polish agriculture," his office quoted the president as saying during the event of the Agroliga organization.

Poland, along with Hungary and Slovakia, continues to block imports of a number of agricultural products from Ukraine.
