Delegation of Islamic Jihad movement arrives in Cairo for talks on Gaza

The delegation plans to discuss "the process of Gaza ceasefire and prisoner swap negotiations"

CAIRO, December 12. /TASS/. A delegation of Palestine’s radical Islamic Jihad movement, led by its secretary-general, arrived in Egypt’s capital Cairo for talks on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the movement said on Telegram.

"The Islamic Jihad delegation, led by Secretary-General Ziyad al-Nakhalah, has arrived in Cairo on an invitation from the Egyptian side," the document says.

The delegation plans to discuss "the process of Gaza ceasefire and prisoner swap negotiations," as well as "more humanitarian aid" for the Palestinian enclave.
