The 2015 FINA (the International Swimming Federation) World Championships is being held in Kazan, the capital of the Volga Republic of Tatarstan, between July 24 and August 9. The event has brought together some 2,400 athletes from over 190 countries. After ten days of competitions the Russian national team ranks second in the overall medal standing, having won 13 medals (8 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze).
