MOSCOW, February 13. /TASS/. More than 50 flights have been delayed and another eight have been cancelled in Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport on Saturday due to a heavy snowfall, according to the data on the airport’s online board.
"Due to extreme weather conditions in the Moscow Region aerodrome services of the Domodedovo Airport are working under no timeline to ensure flights safety," press service of the airport reported via its Telegram channel.
As of 2:40 pm Moscow time, 20 flights have been delayed in Sheremetyevo, and 28 flights - in Vnukovo. Two flights have been cancelled and 2 delayed in Zhukovsky. All in all, around 100 flights have been delayed in Moscow airports.
A heavy snowfall started in Moscow in the second part of Thursday and may last until February 14.
