TEHRAN, July 3. /TASS/. Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev arrived in Tehran for the farewell ceremony of Iran's deceased Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

"I have arrived in Tehran to participate in the mourning ceremony on the occasion of the passing of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei," he wrote on his Max messenger channel.

Medvedev is expected shortly at the venue for the farewell to the deceased Supreme Leader - the Imam Khomeini Mosalla in Tehran, the largest religious and public complex in the Iranian capital.
