KAZAN, November 14. /TASS/. Moscow and Beijing are marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations as close partners, continuing their mutually beneficial strategic cooperation in all areas, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in his greeting speech to the participants of the Russian-Chinese International Forum Rostki in Kazan.
"This year, we celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Russian-Chinese diplomatic relations. Moscow and Beijing have reached this auspicious milestone as strong strategic partners. We continue to cooperate with each other even more closely to our mutual benefit in all areas, thus contributing to the formation of a more just, multipolar world order. Both Russia and China’s leaders reaffirmed the countries’ commitment to its advancement during the recent meeting on the margins of the BRICS Summit in Kazan," Lavrov noted.
Lavrov also praised the contribution of Tatarstan's leadership to enhancing interaction with China. "We have a number of partnership agreements with cities and provinces of China, are implementing many joint projects, and promote humanitarian exchanges. The Volga-Yangtze Council for Interregional Cooperation between the Regions of Central Russia and the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze River is working successfully," the minister added.

The International Forum Rostki: Russia and China - Mutually Beneficial Cooperation is being held in Kazan from November 13 to 15. The forum's business program includes 70 sessions on trade, investment, technology, logistics, petrochemicals, agriculture, education, tourism, and other topics. More than 10,000 participants, including representatives of 69 Russian regions and 26 Chinese administrative divisions, are expected to attend the event, which will also feature the Russia-China Expo international exhibition and a rich cultural program.
