Ukraine may be preserved on condition of its neutrality — Russian envoy to UN

"It must be peaceful, neutral Ukraine, without discrimination and Russophobia, where Nazi criminals are not made hereto, and which does not pose threat to Russia," Vasily Nebenzya said

UNITED NATIONS, February 24. /TASS/. It is still possible to preserve Ukraine in a certain way but it shall become neutral for that, Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said at the Security Council’s meeting.

"I would like to stress - it is still possible to preserve Ukraine in a certain form but it must be peaceful, neutral Ukraine, without discrimination and Russophobia, where Nazi criminals are not made hereto, and which does not pose threat to Russia," Nebenzya said.

"Goals of our special military operations are aimed exactly at achieving these objectives," the Russian diplomat noted. "Any conflict ends sooner or later. We are confident the same will be with the conflict in Ukraine. Certainly, the more it is protracted due to Western feeding for Kiev, the less beneficial conditions of peace for Ukraine will be," Nebenzya added.
