MOSCOW, November 10. /TASS/. Russian forces delivered 11 strikes by precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles on Ukrainian military airfields, arms arsenals and fuel depots over the past week in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Friday.
"In the period of November 4-10, the Russian Armed Forces delivered 11 multiple-launch strikes by precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles against enemy military airfield infrastructure, arsenals, artillery ammunition, armament and military hardware storage sites, fuel and lubricants depots. In addition, the strikes targeted deployment sites of Ukrainian troops, nationalists and foreign mercenaries," the ministry said in a statement.
All the designated targets were destroyed, the ministry stressed.
Russian forces improve forward edge positions in Kupyansk area over week
Russian forces improved their forward edge positions and repulsed 18 Ukrainian army attacks in the Kupyansk area, eliminating roughly 710 enemy troops over the past week, the ministry reported.
"In the Kupyansk direction, units of the western battlegroup improved their forward edge positions in some frontline sectors and repulsed 18 enemy attacks over the week. Air strikes and artillery fire inflicted damage on the personnel and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 25th airborne, 68th jaeger, 14th, 54th and 67th mechanized brigades in areas near the settlements of Sinkovka, Ivanovka and Zagoruikovka in the Kharkov Region, Sverdlovka and Stelmakhovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic. The enemy’s losses amounted to over 710 personnel, a tank, 11 armored combat vehicles, 18 motor vehicles and 16 field artillery guns," the ministry said.
Russian forces repel nine Ukrainian attacks in Krasny Liman area over week
Russian forces repelled nine Ukrainian army attacks in the Krasny Liman area, killing and wounding more than 725 enemy troops and destroying 44 items of military hardware over the past week, the ministry reported.
"In the Krasny Liman direction, units of the battlegroup Center supported by aircraft, artillery and heavy flamethrower fires repelled nine attacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 1st special operations brigade, 24th and 47th mechanized brigades and the National Guard’s 15th regiment," the ministry said.
In areas near the settlements of Yampolovka and Serebryanka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Russian forces inflicted damage on manpower and military hardware of the Ukrainian army’s 67th mechanized and 125th territorial defense brigades, the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army’s losses in the Krasny Liman area over the past week totaled "over 725 personnel killed and wounded, three tanks, 13 armored combat vehicles, 20 motor vehicles, six field artillery guns and two multiple rocket launchers, the ministry specified.
Kiev loses over 1,590 troops in Donetsk area over week
Russian forces struck Ukrainian army units in the Donetsk area, killing and wounding more than 1,590 enemy troops and destroying three tanks and three multiple rocket launchers over the past week, the ministry reported.
"In the Donetsk direction, the southern battlegroup inflicted damage by firepower on the Ukrainian army’s personnel and equipment near the settlements of Maryinka, Kurdyumovka, Bogdanovka, Andreyevka and Kleshcheyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. Over the past week, Russian forces repelled 16 enemy attacks. The Ukrainian army’s losses amounted to over 1,590 personnel killed and wounded, three tanks, 14 armored combat vehicles, 32 motor vehicles, 17 field artillery guns and three multiple rocket launchers," the ministry said.
Russian forces gain advantageous sites in south Donetsk area over week
Russian forces gained more advantageous positions and repelled three Ukrainian army attacks in the south Donetsk area, killing and wounding more than 800 enemy troops over the past week, the ministry reported.
"In the south Donetsk direction, units of the battlegroup East gained more advantageous frontiers and positions and repelled three enemy attacks. Air strikes and artillery fire inflicted damage on units of the Ukrainian army’s 79th air assault, 58th motorized infantry, 105th and 128th territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Staromayorskoye and Urozhainoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Priyutnoye in the Zaporozhye Region. The enemy’s losses totaled over 800 personnel killed and wounded, a tank, 12 armored combat vehicles and 22 motor vehicles," the ministry said.
In counter-battery fire, Russian forces destroyed eight Ukrainian field artillery guns and an enemy multiple rocket launcher in the south Donetsk area over the past week. In addition, they wiped out an artillery ammunition depot of the Ukrainian army’s 127th territorial defense brigade near the settlement of Bogatyr in the Donetsk People’s Republic, it said.

Russian forces repulsed 14 Ukrainian army attacks in the Zaporozhye area over the past week, the ministry reported.
"In the Zaporozhye direction, Russian forces were engaged in active defense, repulsing 14 enemy attacks in areas near the settlements of Verbovoye and Rabotino in the Zaporozhye Region. Also, they inflicted damage by firepower on the personnel and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 33rd, 65th and 118th mechanized brigades near the settlements of Malaya Tokmachka and Stepovoye in the Zaporozhye Region," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army’s losses in the Zaporozhye direction over the past week amounted to 495 personnel, five tanks, 32 armored combat vehicles, 13 motor vehicles and six field artillery guns, the ministry specified.
Russian forces eliminate 505 Ukrainian troops in Kherson area over week
Russian forces eliminated roughly 505 Ukrainian troops in the Kherson area over the past week, the ministry reported.
"The enemy’s weekly losses totaled as many as 505 personnel, 18 field artillery guns, 15 boats and 25 motor vehicles as a result of active pre-emptive operations by Russian troops and artillery fire," the ministry said.
In addition, 26 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered to Russian troops in the Kherson direction over the past week, it said.
Russian forces strike Ukrainian marines attempting to land on islands near Kherson
Russian forces inflicted damage on two Ukrainian marine infantry units attempting to land on islands near Kherson and on the left bank of the Dnieper River, the ministry reported.
"In the Kherson direction, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to disembark for seizing a bridgehead on islands and on the left bank of the Dnieper River, in which damage was inflicted on units of the Ukrainian army’s 35th and 36th marine infantry brigades," the ministry said.
In particular, the Russian Dnepr battlegroup’s motor rifle company commanded by Senior Lieutenant Zolto Arsalanov destroyed servicemen of a unit of the Ukrainian army’s 36th marine infantry brigade upon their attempt to gain ground on the left bank of the Dnieper River on November 9, the ministry said.
The motor rifle company commanded by Arsalanov destroyed most of the Ukrainian militants and captured another 11 enemy soldiers. Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu recommended the motor rifle company’s commander and personnel for state awards for the courage and heroism displayed in repelling the enemy attack, the ministry said.
Russian air defenses down eight Ukrainian warplanes over week
Russian air defense forces shot down eight Ukrainian combat aircraft over the past week, the ministry reported.
"Over the past week, air defense capabilities shot down eight Ukrainian Air Force combat aircraft, among them four MiG-29s [fighter jets], two Su-27s [fighter jets] and two Su-25 ground attack planes," the ministry said.
Russian air defenses destroy 32 HIMARS rockets, 12 Storm Shadow missiles over week
Russian air defense forces shot down 32 rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and 12 Storm Shadow and SCALP tactical cruise missiles of the Ukrainian army over the past week, the ministry reported.
"Air defense capabilities shot down 32 rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, 12 Storm Shadow and SCALP tactical cruise missiles, two Neptune anti-ship missiles and two JDAM guided air bombs," the ministry said.
In addition, Russian air defense systems destroyed 205 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over that period, it said.
In all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 533 Ukrainian warplanes, 254 helicopters, 8,791 unmanned aerial vehicles, 441 surface-to-air missile systems, 13,335 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,183 multiple rocket launchers, 7,040 field artillery guns and mortars and 15,175 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, the ministry reported.
