MOSCOW, June 26. /TASS/. Air defenses downed 660 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Russian regions, the Sea of Azov, and the Black Sea last night, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

The overnight drone attack was the largest since the beginning of the year, according to TASS estimates based on data from the Defense Ministry.

A woman was injured in a massive Ukrainian drone attack on the Tula Region in Central Russia.

Scale of attacks

- On-duty air defenses intercepted and destroyed 660 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles over Russian regions last night, the Defense Ministry said.

- The drones were shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Kaluga, Lipetsk, Rostov, Voronezh, Tula, Ryazan, Astrakhan, and Moscow regions, as well as over Crimea, the Black Sea, and the Sea of Azov.

- The overnight drone attack was the largest since the beginning of the year, according to TASS estimates based on data from the Defense Ministry.

- The previous largest Ukrainian drone attack of the year was repelled on May 17, when air defenses intercepted and destroyed 556 UAVs.

- A total of 555 drones were downed over Russian regions in the early hours of June 18.

- Air defenses destroyed another 84 Ukrainian drones over the Tula Region, Governor Dmitry Milyayev said on the Max messenger.

- Earlier, he reported the destruction of 73 UAVs during the night.

- TASS estimates based on data from Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin show that 47 drones flying toward the Russian capital were shot down.

- Air defenses downed 13 Ukrainian drones over the Kaluga Region, Governor Vladislav Shapsha wrote on Max.

- Over ten drones were destroyed in the Millerovsky, Chertkovsky, Neklinovsky, Sholokhovsky, Bokovsky, Tarasovsky, Ust-Donetsky districts of the southern Rostov Region, Governor Yury Slyusar said on his Max channel.

Consequences

- A female civilian was injured in a large-scale Ukrainian drone attack on the Tula Region, Governor Dmitry Milyayev said.

- She is being provided with necessary medical assistance.

- According to the governor, damage was reported to a power line and an industrial facility in Novomoskovsk.

- Response teams are working at the sites.
