ROSTOV-ON-DON, December 7. /TASS/. Air defense units thwarted a drone attack in the Rostov Region, Governor Yury Slyusar said.

"The north of the Rostov Region was attacked by the enemy at night. Drones were destroyed and suppressed in Kamensk, Chertkovsky and Sholokhovsky Districts," the governor wrote on his Telegram account.

A power transmission line pole was damaged, Slyusar added. Recovery operations will start in daylight time, he added.
