LUGANSK, March 25. /TASS/. Zvezda TV channel correspondent Nikita Goldin was seriously wounded, he was with the deceased cameraman Andrey Panov and driver Alexander Sirkeli in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), Zvezda TV channel said on its Telegram channel.
"Zvezda correspondent Nikita Goldin was seriously wounded in an attack by Ukrainian forces. He was with the deceased cameraman Andrey Panov and driver Alexander Sirkeli. Ukrainian militants carried out a targeted attack on a civilian car with two HIMARS missiles," the report said.
Six people were killed as a result of the shelling by Ukrainian forces, including Izvestia correspondent Alexander Fedorchak, Zvezda cameraman and driver Andrey Pano and Alexander Sirkeli.
Security forces told TASS that the cause of the death of six people - three journalists and three civilians - was a targeted attack by Ukrainian militants using the HIMARS MLRS. As a result of the attack, civilian cars were destroyed and nearby buildings were heavily damaged. The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on the fact of the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
