Novatek gas production up 1.2% in Q1 to 21.12 bcm

The production of liquid hydrocarbons rose by 12.2% in the reporting period to 3.46 mln tons, while total production of hydrocarbons added 2.7% to 167.4 mln barrels per oil equivalent

MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. Novatek increased production of natural gas by 1.2% in Q1 2024 to 21.12 bln cubic meters year-on-year, the company reported.

Preliminary total natural gas sales volumes, including volumes of LNG sold, aggregated 21.47 bln cubic meters, down by 3.8% compared with the same period last year.

The production of liquid hydrocarbons rose by 12.2% in the reporting period to 3.46 mln tons, while total production of hydrocarbons added 2.7% to 167.4 mln barrels per oil equivalent.

Preliminary total sales volumes of liquid hydrocarbons aggregated 4.3 mln tons, which was 11% higher than in the first quarter 2023.

Novatek processed 3.3 mln tons of unstable gas condensate at the Purovsky Processing Plant, down by 2.8% compared with the corresponding volumes processed in the prior reporting period. The company further also processed 1.4 mln tons of stable gas condensate at the Ust-Luga Complex, which is 23.4% lower as compared with the first quarter 2023.
