MOSCOW, March 15. /TASS/. More than one hundred companies have started their work in Cuba during the last year, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said during the 21st meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Cuban commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation.
"Over 100 Russian companies from different economic sectors have become engaged in work in the Cuban direction over the last year, such as heavy industry, energy, banking, agriculture, information technologies and tourism," Chernyshenko said.
The work of Russian companies in Cuba will positively influence bilateral trade figures in the near future, the deputy prime minister stressed.
