Yalta International Economic Forum to be held in late September 2023

It is highlighted that the matter of inviting delegations to the Forum in Yalta is under consideration

SIMFEROPOL, March 7. /TASS/. The Yalta International Economic Forum is planned to be held in late September 2023, Chairman of the Crimean State Council Vladimir Konstantinov told TASS on Tuesday.

"We have the funds to hold the forum. It is tentatively planned for late September 2023," Konstantinov said.

The matter of inviting delegations to the Forum in Yalta is under consideration, he added.

The Forum may be held in Moscow on the anniversary of the reunification of new regions with Russia, head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov noted in his turn.

"We will most likely stage it in Moscow together with the new regions. Pushilin and Pasechnik [head of DPR Denis Pushilin and head of LPR Leonid Pasechnik - TASS] regularly attended the Yalta International Economic Forum; actually, they were participants. Considering logistics, the proposal will probably be to hold it on September 29-30 in Moscow, when the anniversary of the reunification of new regions with Russia will take place," Aksenov told reporters. The forum will be held in a new format that will be presented by April 1, he added.

The Yalta International Economic Forum has been held in Crimea since 2015. The event did not take place from 2020 - 2022 because of the epidemiological situation.
