MOSCOW, June 10. /TASS/. Annual inflation declined from 5.58% in this April to 5.31% in May, the Federal State Statistics Service, Rosstat, reported.

Consumer prices ticked up by 0.17% month-on-month, the authority said.

According to statistics, foods prices dropped 0.85% monthly but moved up by 2.86% annually in May 2026. Nonfoods prices increased by 0.17% month on month and by 4.19% year on year. Services had the upsurge in prices by 1.55% monthly and by 10.13% annually in May 2026.
