WASHINGTON, October 10. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin for agreeing to supply diesel fuel to the US market, speaking to reporters at the White House.

"I think you heard about the oil deal with Russia. That is a big deal. That is massive amounts of oil coming into our country, and I want to thank President Putin, to be honest with you. We have massive amounts of oil being coming into our country, and it's diesel, which is what we want. So, thank you," Trump said.

"We need oil for the world, and this is diesel, which is what we need. So, we're very happy to get it. We're very happy to get it. Look, we need it," Trump told reporters at the White House on Friday, commenting on the arrangements with Russia.

In Trump’s view, "oil prices are already dropping like a rock." "We’re very happy to get it," he reiterated.
