BENGALURU, February 11. /TASS/. The design of Russia’s fifth-generation Su-57 fighter jet allows it to destroy targets outside the enemy’s engagement area, United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) Head Vadim Badekha told TASS on Tuesday.
"Speaking about the Su-57, I would like to highlight several more aspects. The aircraft is employed in real combat conditions and under active jamming and demonstrates its best qualities. Our plane’s designed stealth characteristics allow it to destroy enemy targets outside the engagement area of its weapons," the UAC head said.
The Su-57’s onboard equipment integrates various data while the information support system incorporating artificial intelligence elements allows the pilot to make decisions in a fraction of a second and always emerge victorious in an air combat, he stressed.
"The Su-57 is employed in real combat conditions and under active jamming and demonstrates its best qualities," the UAC head said.
