Rosatom CEO says share of unfriendly countries’ projects in portfolio declining

The absolute number of projects in unfriendly countries remains unchanged, Alexey Likhachev added

MOSCOW, October 10. /TASS/. The relative share of projects in unfriendly countries in the portfolio of Russia’s State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom is declining, but their absolute number remains unchanged, CEO Alexey Likhachev said.

He referred to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s remark that there were no unfriendly countries for Russia, let alone unfriendly peoples, only unfriendly rulers.

"We would like these unfriendly rulers to become a thing of the past, and pragmatic people advocating the interests of their countries, rather than alien regimes, to choose dialogue with us. We are ready for it. And, of course, the relative share of Western countries’ projects is declining in our foreign project portfolio, but their absolute number still stands," the Rosatom chief said.
