KIEV, October 15. /TASS/. A bust of Red Army commander Mikhail Frunze was toppled in the city of Chernihiv, Ukraine's north, during a torch-lit march honouring nationalist rebels who fought for the Nazis during World War II, local police said on Wednesday.
Police said they had launched a criminal probe into the incident.
According to the pro-nationalist Ukrainian memory institute, some 300 monuments of Bolshevik revolution leader Vladimir Lenin and other 70 Soviet-era monuments have been vandalized in Ukraine since the end of last year.
