NEW YORK, October 8. /TASS/. The financial impact of the current Ebola outbreak in West Africa could reach $32.6 billion by the end of 2015 if the disease spreads beyond the three most affected countries, Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, the World Bank said on Wednesday.
"The economic impacts of Ebola are already very serious in the core three countries — particularly Liberia and Sierra Leone — and could become catastrophic under a slow-containment scenario," the World Bank said in a statement.
