NEW YORK, August 5. /TASS/. The US military is preparing an updated nuclear strategy in case of a regional conflict, NBC News reported, citing sources.

According to the sources, the Pentagon has begun drafting a new US nuclear strategy that "emphasizes the possible use of shorter-range tactical weapons in case of a regional war with China or Russia."
