WASHINGTON, December 11. /TASS/. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., US President-elect Trump’s nomination for Secretary of Health and Human Services, is on a mission to prove that the CIA was involved in the assassination of his uncle, 35th US President John F. Kennedy, Axios reported citing its sources.

According to the sources, to this end, RFK is advocating for his daughter-in-law Amaryllis Fox Kennedy to be appointed First Deputy Director of the CIA. Axios notes that Trump feels like he owes Kennedy Jr. for helping him win the election and wants to pay him back. The website believes that if Fox Kennedy’s candidacy is approved by the US Senate, she could insist that the documents regarding the assassination be declassified.

John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas on November 22, 1963, during a campaign trip to Texas. The official commission, established after the crime, concluded that the assassination involved only one shooter, Lee Harvey Oswald, and that there was no overarching conspiracy. According to the commission, the shot was taken from the sixth story of a warehouse that made school textbooks, located in the central square in Dallas. A rifle with an optic sight and spent casings were found there.
