ISTANBUL, November 18. /TASS/. The entire world, and especially Islamic nations, should be galvanized into action to help Gazans, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan told journalists of his pool when returning to Germany.
"Currently, it is only Egypt that is showing some courage. It is vital to keep open the Rafah border crossing, which has become a sort of lifebuoy supporting life in Gaza. Although our aid is limited, it reaches our brothers. Israel attempts to obstruct this aid, dooming Gaza to starvation and thirst by barring humanitarian aid from getting into the region. However, we are not giving up, we are engaging international humanitarian organizations and the UN, we are providing help, although not as much as we would like to. We will continue to help Gaza despite these obstacles. The entire world, especially Islamic countries, must mobilize to help Gaza," Erdogan said, as quoted by the Anadolu news agency.
