Ukrainian strike hits ammunition depot in Russia’s Belgorod Region, governor says

According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties

MOSCOW, October 13. /TASS/. A shelling attack carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit an ammunition depot in Russia’s Belgorod Region, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Thursday.

"An ammunition depot located in a settlement in the Belgorod District came under the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ fire. Ammunition detonated. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties. We will now evacuate local residents to a safe distance," he wrote on Telegram.

Gladkov added that head of the Belgorod District Vladimir Pertsev and emergency teams were working at the scene. According to a number of local media outlets, the depot was located in the Oktyabrsky settlement.
