MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. The mobile application of the Russian Emergencies Ministry has been subjected to a massive cyberattack, which resulted in the dissemination of false information regarding a supposed threat to the public, the ministry’s press service reported.

"The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s mobile app has been hit by a massive cyberattack, allowing perpetrators to send out fake information to the public," the ministry stated.

Efforts are currently underway to address the vulnerability in the mobile app and restore its normal operation.
