MOSCOW, July 3. /TASS/. The Russian stock market reversed course to decline at the start of the main trading session, Moscow Exchange data showed. The yuan also edged down.
As of 10:00 a.m. Moscow time, the MOEX and RTS indices rose 0.25% at the opening of the main trading session to 2,261.72 and 914.28 points, respectively. The yuan was down 6.2 kopecks from the previous close to stand at 11.4 rubles.
By 10:15 a.m. Moscow time, the MOEX index turned lower to 2,252.6 points (-0.15%), while the RTS index stood at 910.59 points (-0.15%). At the same time, the yuan accelerated its decline to 11.38 rubles (-8.2 kopecks).
The broader Moscow Exchange index (IMOEX2) shed 0.26% to stand at 2,250.25 points at the opening of the morning trading session, according to data as of 7:00 a.m. Moscow time.
