MOSCOW, March 20. /TASS/. The implementation of the "Industry 5.0" concept, which envisions the integration of humans and technology, will lead to an 8-9 times reduction in bureaucratic management of processes. Additionally, it could boost GDP by up to 4%, head of the industrial transformation group at Technologies of Trust Alexey Nesterenko told TASS.
"The market is moving towards the adoption of the ‘Industry 5.0’ concept, which combines human capabilities with technology, where technology supplements an employee’s abilities rather than replacing them entirely. Leaders in the digital transformation of the industrial sector are already starting to implement this concept. However, the most significant results have been achieved by service companies providing services to the real economy sector. As a result of the implementation of ‘Industry 5.0,’ bureaucratic management of processes in production will decrease by an average of 8-9 times. With the introduction of ‘Industry 5.0’ tools, our estimates show that the overall increase in GDP could reach up to 4%," Nesterenko explained.
According to Nesterenko, the concept addresses key challenges faced by Russian manufacturers, such as the projected shortage of 2-4 mln workers by 2030, as well as low employee qualification levels and lengthy training periods for specialists. "The average time for a specialist to transition from ‘beginner’ to ‘experienced’ status reaches around three years," he added.
