Although Ukraine uses reserves Russian army pushes forward near Krasnoarmeysk — DPR leader

Denis Pushilin noted that the "most rapid" advance of Russian troops is taking place around Velikaya Novoselka

DONETSK, March 16. /TASS/. Russian troops have stabilized the situation and are advancing near Krasnoarmeysk (Ukrainian name: Pokrovsk) in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), although the Ukrainian army is deploying reserves, according to DPR leader Denis Pushilin.

"The situation in the Krasnoarmeysk area is currently characterized by the enemy's objective to contain our units for as long as possible. Nevertheless, despite the enemy transferring additional reserves from the Kursk area, our units have managed to stabilize the situation and continue to make progress," he stated on his Telegram channel.

Pushilin noted that the "most rapid" advance of Russian troops is taking place around Velikaya Novoselka. "There, following the liberation of Dneproenergiya, we observe our soldiers engaging in active combat in several settlements, including Volnoye Polye, and in various other directions," he said.

He also mentioned that intense fighting for Chasov Yar is ongoing. Additionally, in the Dneprodzerzhynsk area, Ukrainian forces are attempting counterattacks. "We are also witnessing our units advancing in the north, as well as in the Krasny Liman area. While the progress may not be very rapid, Russian troops are conducting precise operations," Pushilin added.
