MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS/. The Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) will for the first time display UTS-800 new export option of the trainer at IDEX show in Abu-Dhabi.
"The world debut of the export mockup option is scheduled at the Russian display at IDEX 2025 show", the company said.
UTS-800 was designed for primary training and selection of pilots. It trains flying the aircraft, navigation, extreme situations, flying by devices and in a group. UTS-800 has two pilots seating in a tandem. The cadet is in the front cockpit and the instructor behind. The jet can be piloted by one man without aircraft alignment.
"UTS-800 trainer has good tactical and technical characteristics and is unified in ergonomic components with Russian combat jets. UTS-800 is powered by a turboprop engine and is equipped with ejected seats and an oxygen system, air conditioning, anti-icing system and other onboard equipment. There is an anti-overload suit for the pilot. The aircraft is highly maneuverable, enjoys a high horizontal speed and lifting power, and can operate day and night. The temperature range is minus 30 plus 45 degrees Centigrade. The maximum speed is 460 km/h, the flight range is 1,200 km, maximum altitude is 6.000 meters. The aircraft can take off from runways with artificial and dirt cover.
