Putin discusses combatting spread of neo-Nazi ideas with Security Council

MOSCOW, March 22. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin during an operational meeting with the Security Council suggested discussing combatting the dissemination of the neo-Nazi ideology.

"Today, we will consider measures to combat the spread of neo-Nazi ideas. I will not go into detail. We know what’s going on and how important it is against the background of today's events. Let's start working," the head of state said, opening the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, chairmen of both chambers of parliament Valentina Matviyenko and Vyacheslav Volodin, Deputy Head of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Head of the Presidential Administration Anton Vaino, Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, Federal Security Service (FSB) Director Alexander Bortnikov, Head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin, and Special Representative of the President for Environmental Activities, Ecology and Transport Sergey Ivanov.
