Trump sees main goals in Ukraine as stopping bloodshed, recouping expenses

"My number two thing is, I don't want to have to pay any more money, because Biden has spent $350 billion without any chance of getting it back," US President stressed

WASHINGTON, February 26. /TASS/. The goals that the US is pursuing in Ukraine are to end the bloodshed and recover the money spent on aiding Kiev, US President Donald Trump said at his first cabinet meeting in the White House.

"My number one thing is to get that stopped," he said, referring to battlefield losses.

"My number two thing is, I don't want to have to pay any more money, because Biden has spent $350 billion without any chance of getting it back. Now we're going to be getting all of that money back, plus a lot more," the president went on to say.
