OTTAWA, January 19. /TASS/. The Global Affairs Canada (Foreign Ministry) summoned Russian envoy Oleg Stepanov on Wednesday, the diplomat told TASS.

"They invited me to the Foreign Ministry. By 16:00 [00:00 Moscow time Thursday - TASS]," he said, without specifying the reason of the summoning.

In 2022, Stepanov was repeatedly summoned to Global Affairs Canada over the situation in Ukraine.
