BERLIN, January 18. /TASS/. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had a phone call with US President Joe Biden, discussing the situation in Ukraine, German Cabinet Spokesman Steffen Hebestreit told reporters Tuesday.

"[The call] focused on the issue of supporting to Ukraine in its fight against the Russian aggression. Both leaders agreed that this support must be efficient, long-lasting and it should be provided in close cooperation," Hebestreit noted.
