MOSCOW, September 23. /TASS/. The Intelligence service has detained a Moscow resident, who was planning a terrorist attack, the FSB Directorate for Moscow and the Moscow Region said.
The FSB also detained an 18-year-old Kerch resident on suspicion of treason. He organized fundraising for the Ukrainian army and sent the SBU information about the location of air defense systems and warships on the peninsula so that they could be targeted, the FSB of Russia said.

Prevention of a terrorist attack against a high-ranking official
- The FSB Directorate for Moscow and the Moscow Region has thwarted criminal activities of a resident of the capital, born in 1993, it said.
- He was a member of a terrorist organization and planned a terrorist attack in the Moscow Region.
- The detainee intended to blow up a vehicle that was part of a motorcade carrying a high-ranking official.
- The man studied online how to use homemade explosives and purchased the components needed to make an explosive device.
Criminal case and preventive measure
- Criminal cases were opened against the detainee under Part 1.1 of Article 205.1 (assistance to terrorist activities), part 2 of Article 205.4 (participation in a terrorist community), part 1 of Article 223.1 (illegal manufacture of explosives), Article 205.3 (undergoing training to carry out terrorist activities), part 2 of Article 282.2 (participation in terrorist activities extremist organization), as well as Part 1 of Articles 30 and Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code (preparation for a terrorist act).

Detention of a Kiev agent in Kerch
- The FSB detained an 18-year-old resident of Kerch on suspicion of treason, it said.
- According to the FSB, the man created a Telegram group with the participation of pro-Ukrainian volunteers, through which he raised funds and purchased equipment for the Ukrainian army.
- He also sent photos of military ships and air defense systems to an SBU chatbot for subsequent strikes against them, the FSB said.
- The man admitted to raising funds for the Ukrainian army, according to a video distributed by the FSB.
- During a search, the FSB found a Russian military ID, a Ukrainian seaman’s book, as well as Russian and Ukrainian passports.
- According to the video, the man was detained at his home and read the order to carry out operational-investigative measures.
Investigation
- The Investigative Department of the FSB Directorate for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol opened a criminal case against the detainee under Article 275 of the Criminal Code (treason).
- The court placed the suspect under arrest.
