ROTTERDAM, May 23. /TASS/. Italian band Maneskin, with its song Zitti e Buoni, won the Eurovision-2021 song contest; singer Manizha who represented Russia with her song Russian Woman was ninth.

Maneskin received 524 points. It is Italy’s third victory in the history of Eurovision, and the first since 1990.

The Russian contestant finished ninth with 204 points.

Commenting on the results, Manizha said she was proud of her performance.

"My ultimate goal was to give it my all on the stage. I’m proud of myself," the Russian contestant said, adding that she could feel the support from the audience.

"I’m thankful for everyone who supported me and voted for me. I could really feel their support during this difficult, but very important time," she told reporters. "I did my best to make the Russian language sound in 39 countries simultaneously. We showed that our country is diverse and multi-national, but we are together.".
