MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. Assembly line production of spacecraft, which is currently developed at a number of Roscosmos enterprises, will make it possible to deploy more than 2,000 new satellites in orbits by 2036, says a document issued for the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Rocket and Space Corporation Energia (part of Russian state aerospace corporation Roscosmos).
It specifies that on the basis of Reshetnev Company, the assembly line production of Marafon IoT (Internet of Things) spacecraft was launched to assemble several satellites per week, NPO Lavochkin is working on the project for flow production of Berlut small spacecraft, while the Yaroslavl Radio Plant (part of the Russian Space Systems) is switching to flow production of unified equipment for new spacecraft.
"The implementation of these and other measures will make it possible to deploy more than 2,000 new spacecraft of different types in various orbits by 2036," the release said.
