MOSCOW, April 9. /TASS/. Saudi King Salman's son Sultan bin Salman bin Adbulaziz Al Saud will visit Moscow on April 17 for talks with Roscosmos head Dmitry Rogozinon cooperation in space, a source in the rocket and space industry told TASS on Tuesday.
"Sultan Al Saud plans to visit Moscow on April 17 on Rogozin's invitation to hold talks on cooperation between Saudi Arabia's Space Agnecy headed by him and Russia's Roscosmos," the source said.
The source added that the Saudi prince also plans to visit several space companies in Russia. Sultan bin Salman will also meet with Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.
In late December 2018, Saudi Arabia announced plans to establish a space agency. The space agency is headed by Sultan bin Salman bin Adbulaziz, the first Arab and Muslim to fly in space. As a former Royal Saudi Air Force pilot, Prince Sultan bin Salman flew aboard the American STS-51-G Space Shuttle as a payload specialist.
