Putin to hold talks with Tajikistan’s president in Moscow on March 17 — Kremlin

According to the statement, the parties will discuss the prospects for further development of Russia-Tajikistan relations of strategic partnership and alliance

MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon on March 17 during the latter’s official visit to Russia, the Kremlin press service said in a statement.

"The parties will discuss the prospects for further development of Russia-Tajikistan relations of strategic partnership and alliance, with a focus on trade, investment and humanitarian cooperation. They are also expected to exchange views on pressing regional issues," the statement reads.

The Tajik Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson told TASS that the country’s president would make an official visit to Russia on March 15-17.
