MOSCOW, November 8. /TASS/. The 2002 agreement concluded between the governments of Russia and Greece that stipulated establishing a Greek consulate in Moscow was terminated on November 1, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement published on the official website of legal information.
"The agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of the Hellenic Republic on the opening of a consulate general of the Hellenic Republic in Moscow, concluded by an exchange of notes on February 22, 2002, was terminated on November 1, 2023," the statement said.
In 2022, the Greek consulate general in Moscow suspended the operation of its visa and civil department over the expulsion of diplomats.
