Gazprom terminated participation in Gazprom Germania GmbH

Gazprom Germania is the operator of several large gas storages in Germany

MOSCOW, April 1. /TASS/. Gazprom Group terminated participation in Germany-based Gazprom Germania GmbH and all its assets, including Gazprom Marketing & Trading Ltd, the company said.

The holding since March 31 ceased to be the owner of St. Petersburg-based Gazprom Export Business Services subsidiary, which in its turn was the sole founder of Gazprom Germania GmbH, Gazprom added.

Gazprom Germania is the operator of several large gas storages in Germany.

Handelsblatt newspaper reported yesterday, citing sources in the German government, that the Economy Ministry of Germany is considering nationalization of German subsidiaries of Gazprom and Rosneft.
