PATRIOT PARK /Moscow Region/, May 22. /TASS/. Russia’s Kalashnikov Group has unveiled the Kub-10ME guided munition with a range of over 100 km, a TASS correspondent reports.
The product was demonstrated to journalists by the arms manufacturer’s CEO Alan Lushnikov. "The munition was developed based on the work in the theater of the special military operation and implements all the latest solutions as requested by the customer," Lushnikov said.
According to the Kalashnikov Group, the key features of the new system include an optoelectronic guidance system that enables the engagement of moving targets, and improved protection against electronic warfare and air defense systems. The device is also equipped with an aerial photography and video recording system that records on-board data. The guided munition can operate in manual, semi-automatic, and automatic modes.
According to the developers, the Kub-10ME is capable of performing missions at altitudes from 80 to 1,800 meters at a cruising speed of 120 km/h, during daytime and nighttime, in both normal and adverse weather conditions, with wind gusts up to 10 m/s, and in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +40°C.
