LUGANSK, March 14. /TASS/. Russian forces have seen a rise in the activities of Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups along the Svatovo and Kremennaya frontline, retired Lieutenant Colonel of the Lugansk People’s Republic’s (LPR) People’s Militia Andrey Marochko told TASS on Tuesday.
"The weather is improving so the enemy’s sabotage and reconnaissance groups have stepped up their activities along the Svatovo and Kremennaya frontline. The Ukrainian armed forces’ sabotage groups of five to eight members are working for 24 hours," he said, citing Russian intelligence.
Marochko pointed out that Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups actively used unmanned aerial vehicles and, in most cases, satellite communication devices.
Marochko earlier told TASS that Ukrainian troops were booby-trapping the banks of the Seversky Donets River near the city of Kremennaya.
