BEIRUT, December 6. /TASS/. The Syrian Armed Forces, supported by the Russian Air Force, launched strikes on militant clusters in the north and south of Syria’s Hama province, according to a report published on the republic’s Defense Ministry’s Facebook page (banned in Russia; owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist in Russia).
The report states that "dozens" of terrorists were eliminated or wounded as a result of the strikes. The attacks also destroyed military hardware and vehicles belonging to the terrorists.
On the morning of November 27, units of the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group (outlawed in Russia) launched a large-scale attack in northern Syria. According to the Syrian army command, the terrorists targeted villages and towns defended by government forces, as well as military facilities. Syrian government forces launched an operation to repel the attack.
On November 30, the Syrian army command said that strikes had been carried out on the positions of militants infiltrating many neighborhoods in the city of Aleppo. The Syrian Defense Ministry stated that the army had to regroup in order to protect the lives of civilians and military personnel and prepare for a counterattack.
