MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky announced that he recently spoke by phone with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, during which Scholz provided a detailed account of his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"The German chancellor revealed the specifics of his call with Putin," Zelensky posted on his Telegram channel.
The two leaders also discussed Germany’s military contributions to Ukraine, particularly the delivery of advanced air defense systems and their necessary munitions.
The conversation between Putin and Scholz took place on November 15. Reuters reported, citing an anonymous source within the Ukrainian presidential office, that Zelensky had attempted to persuade Scholz to avoid speaking with the Russian president just one day prior. According to information published on the official German government website, no subsequent discussions have taken place between Scholz and Zelensky since November 15.
