SIRIUS /Federal Territory/, November 17. /TASS/. The special military operation is underway between the US and Russia, with diplomatic talks being the only way to solving the crisis, Slovakian MP, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico’s adviser Jan Mazgut told TASS.

"From my viewpoint, the only way to peacemaking in Ukraine is diplomatic talks. I would say that this is not a war, but a special military operation between Russia and the US on Ukrainian territory," he said on the sidelines of an international conference on prospects of cooperation between BRICS and European countries that is underway in Sochi.

Military and financial support provided to Ukraine is not a way of solving the crisis, Mazgut added.
