Belarus points to Polish law enforcement officers’ crimes against Iraqi nationals

MINSK, June 21. /TASS/. Minsk recorded criminal acts against 135 Iraqi nationals that were committed by Polish law enforcement officers on the Poland-Belarus border in 2021, the Belarusian Investigative Committee said on Tuesday.

"Belarusian investigators recorded criminal acts against 135 Iraqi nationals who suffered injuries after Polish law enforcement officers had used violence against them. In particular, an investigation is underway into three counts of bodily harm and illegal expulsion from the European Union to Belarus, which led to the death of Iraqi citizens," the committee said after a meeting with an Iraqi delegation.
