Kremlin critical of 'inexcusable' silence globally over Kiev’s attacks on journalists

Ukrainian troops continue to target Russian reporters in the special military operation zone and in border areas

MOSCOW, March 25. /TASS/. Russia has always drawn global attention to how Kiev has been hunting Russian journalists, but many prefer to remain silent on the issue, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a news briefing.

"The Russian side constantly draws the global community’s attention to attacks, intimidation and attempted assassinations of journalists in the conflict zone," Peskov assured reporters. "And, of course, we think the world does not react enough. Many simply opt not to respond, which we think is inexcusable," he emphasized.

Ukrainian troops continue to target Russian reporters in the special military operation zone and in border areas. News came on Monday that six people, including three employees with federal media outlets, were killed in Ukrainian shelling.

In the Sudzha district of Russia’s Kursk Region, Ukrainian militants delivered an attack on a residential neighborhood where TASS reporter Mikhail Skuratov was on a mission. He sustained wounds as a result of the attack.
