Only truly sovereign countries capable of dynamic development — Putin

The head of state emphasized that Russia is strengthening its sovereignty in all areas critical to business operations, including the development of transportation, logistics, financial, and payment infrastructure

MOSCOW, March 18. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, said that only countries enjoying full-fledged sovereignty are capable of development for the benefit of their peoples.

"Only those countries that can ensure real, full-scale sovereignty and remain resilient, both generally and to external pressures in particular, are capable of dynamic, progressive development in the interests of their peoples," he said.

The president emphasized that Russia is strengthening its sovereignty in all areas critical to business operations, including the development of transportation, logistics, financial, and payment infrastructure.

"We are already working on this now and will definitely continue," he added.
