Belarus, Russia created common agricultural market — Belarusian Deputy PM

Balances of mutual supplies of foods in this year will be discussed with the Russian government, the Belarusian official said

MOSCOW, February 4. /TASS/. Belarus and Russia have formed a common agricultural market, Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Yury Shuleiko said in Moscow at the PRODEXPO-2025 exhibition.

"Belarus and Russia created the common agricultural market; the buyers have equal access to high quality goods. All the problems related to ‘closing’ of Belarusian plants for the Russian market are a thing in the past," Shuleiko said, cited by the press service of the Belarusian government.

"It is inappropriate to speak about closing [restriction of food supplies - TASS] of plants," Shuleiko noted. "We make adjustments, both sides make adjustments. All that [takes place] within the framework of quality and safety [of products]," he added.

Balances of mutual supplies of foods in this year will be discussed with the Russian government, the Belarusian official said. "We will discuss this issue with the Russian government tomorrow," Shuleiko added.
