Putin, Lukashenko sign common electricity market agreement

MINSK, December 6. /TASS/. Presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko signed the Agreement on forming the common electric power market of the two countries.

Leaders of Russia and Belarus also approved a document anticipating cancellation of roaming between the two countries from March 1, 2025. This will be done on account of introducing comfortable tariffs, close to the ones existing in home networks. Subscribers will have at least 300 minutes of free incoming voice calls and at least 5 Gigabytes of data transmission monthly.

The ceremony of documents signing was held after the end of the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Russia and Belarus in Minsk.
